The Waring Immersion Blender As an aside, there is a scaled down version available that has only 2 operating speeds and 100 watts of power that sells for a fraction of the heavy-duty price at $80. Interestingly enough, this fun-size version does not perform nor sell as well as her bigger brothers. The commercial Waring Immersion Blender is lightweight and ergonomic. It comes with a rubber comfort grip and a second handle to ensure the blender is operated in a safe and controlled manner. The stainless steel shaft is completely sealed and is removable and dishwasher safe. The heavy duty blender allows for continuous operation when used with the optional hands free bowl clamp accessory. The immersion blender can puree up to 50 gallons (video below!) at a time making it an invaluable tool for every commercial kitchen. Waring sells several accessories that can be purchased separately that will make the heavy duty blender more versatile. There is a 10" whisk attachment made of stainless steel that can be used to whip meringue, cream and potatoes quickly. In addition there is a hanger for wall mounting that allows the unit to be stored easily and yet be accessible whenever needed in the kitchen. 
The heavy duty Waring Immersion Blender is an expensive item and the additional accessories must be purchased separately. Waring commercial products come with a hefty price tag and the unit itself retails for over $300 and if you add on the whisk, the wall mount for storing when not in use and the hand free clamp, you are looking upwards at a near $600 investment. The unit, while considered lightweight for a commercial product still weights 21 pounds.
