I make so many smoothie recipes nowadays that I’m starting to consider myself the smoothie king. I could probably even start one of those smoothie franchises from my kitchen. Over time we have amassed an amazing collection of recipes.

Before the Oprah craze, I loved getting the acai berry drink smoothie at Robeks and began trying to make my own smoothies at home. There was nothing wrong with Robek’s, I just had trouble dishing out $5 every time I wanted a fruit smoothie.

What we’ve tried to do is collect the very best recipes for you. Depending on whether you’re looking to make a fruit smoothie, wheat grass juice smoothie recipes, or a diet related smoothie, we hope we have what you are looking for.

Smoothie drinks can be handled by most blenders (just make sure your blender can crush ice.) That said, higher end models made by brands such as Vita-Mix will not only create a deluxe smoothie, but also break down the cell fibers in fruits and vegetables, making it easier for our bodies to assimilate their nutrients.
