Blazin' Hot Sauce Recipe
If You Can’t Take The Heat,
Reach For The Bleu Cheese!
This hot sauce recipe is perfect whether the big game is on or if you just got that craving for something deliciously spicy. It can be used to kick up dips or as a coating for a hot wings sauce
recipe. This spicy sauce has the right amount of heat and sweet.
It may not make you sweat, but consider this a recipe for the masses. All you capsaicin loving masochists can up the ante of this spicy sauce by adding more (or spicier) peppers to the simmer and really concentrating down that flavor. By the same token, if you find this hot sauce recipe to be too spicy, adding a little extra cider vinegar will help ease the heat slightly. Now all you have to do is find your own little cleaned out perfume bottles to pour it from and remember – remove the do not touch your eyes at all costs!
Blazin' Hot Sauce Recipe
What You'll Need
- 8 Jalapeno Peppers
- 1 Habanero pepper
- 4 Chili Peppers
- 2 Cayenne Peppers
- 3 Cloves Garlic, Minced
- 1/2 Small Onion, Diced
- 2 Cups Water
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1/2 Cup White Vinegar
- 1 Teaspoon Vegetable Oil
Instructions
1.)Dice peppers. Remove all membranes. Remove the seeds from the Habanero and the Cayenne Peppers
2.)Place in a pan with oil, onions, garlic and salt. Cook on low heat until translucent.
3.)Add water and puree with a hand blender.
4.)Simmer, stirring often for 30 minutes or until the volume has roughly reduced by half. Allow time to cool.
5.)Puree again and while doing this add vingegar in a slow and steady stream.
6.)Transfer to a very clean jar. Use within 6 months (although you will probably use it all up before then!).
