Reviewing the Hamilton Beach Hand Blender:

The Hamilton Beach 59770 Turbo-Twister comes with two separate attachments.  There is a 7.25” stainless steel whisk and an 8.5” blending wand that easily attach and detach for cleaning.  The attachments make whipping eggs and blending drinks and foods a snap. 

Although the manual says not to use it to crush ice, consumers have reported that the Hamilton Beach 59770 Hand blender can be used to crush ice.  This makes it an even sweeter deal to buy. The five-foot cord gives plenty of reach to use the appliance in your home.  There is nothing more frustrating than having an immersion blender with a short cord making it inaccessible to use easily.

Several customer reviews report that the plastic encasing the metal blades on the Hamilton Beach hand blender cracked and led to rusting.  This is definitely something to consider when contemplating a purchase, but Hamilton does provide a one-year warranty.  The blender manual states that the product should never be immersed beyond the maximum immersion line.

The immersion blender is a great appliance because you can blend within the bowl or glass that you are using without having to dirty another bowl.
