Iconic Breville die cast design an innovative hemisphere blade system reshapes the bottom of the traditionally squared-off blender carafe into a bowl. Assisted by four serrated central blades and 2 wider wing-style blades that hug the hemisphere’s curves, this smart design eliminates the dead zones where the blades might not be able to pull food items into the vortex.

Breville was founded in Australia in 1932 when Bill O'Brien and Harry Norville blended their last names together. After making radios and mine detectors for the military during World War II, they refocused their efforts on small appliances. After making their name famous with the Snack 'n Sandwich Maker, a clamshell design sandwich toaster, they expanded their success with Australia’s first food processor which they dubbed the Kitchen Wizz.

The modern Die Cast and Ikon blenders by Breville showcase a drastic evolution over what made the simple Wizz a hit with consumers. These modern units sport high power, sleek Breville die cast design and well thought out features. And while Breville is still based out of Australia, it is truly a worldwide brand with its products available around the globe.
